Carburettor Control Pressiometer KM120 – Portable Model "Special Race"

The KM120 is the ultra-nomad version of the precision pressiometer. Unlike the more cumbersome base models, the KM120 is designed to hold in the hand, allowing a flash control of your carburation directly on the boot cart or in the closed park.

Characteristics Technical:

  • Reference: KM120

  • Compact Format: Ergonomic "all-in-one" design without heavy base, ideal for the track tool case.

  • High Precision Gauge: Dial protected by shock-proof coating to withstand paddock conditions.

  • Integrated Manual Pump: Fluid actuation for a progressive and precise pressure rise.

  • Universal compatibility: Perfect for all membrane carburetors (X30, KA100, Gazelle, Rotax, Vortex).

  • Connector: Delivered with reinforced flexible durite.

The Magickart Commitment: Performance is not waiting.

The Council of Michel (Magickart): The KM120, the weapon of the track mechanic

"KM120 is my favourite for the days of racing. My expert advice: When the pressure rises between two sleeves and it is necessary to check whether the carbide has not "gummed" because of the heat, it is the tool you need. You don't need to set it up, you take it out of the pocket and you test it in 30 seconds.

Who does the trigger with the KM120? This is the synergy between the air pressure you pump and the resistance of the Spring (R33) via the Levier (R20).

  • If your KM120 indicates a trigger too low, your spring is tired or your lever is too high.

  • If the needle does not drop clean, it is that your point (R18) 'paste'.

The essentials with your KM120:

  • Spring kit (26g to 46g): To adjust your 'Pop-Off' according to the temperature changes in the afternoon.

  • Pointeau (R18) nine: Because a KM120 test often reveals a micro-leak that you did not suspect.

A little pro secret: Since the KM120 is very portable, be careful not to pinch the durite in the toolbox. A test with a porous durite will give you a false leak reading. At Magickart, we love this tool because it makes metrology accessible to all drivers, even solo!"

Quick Tuto: Express control at KM120

  1. Branch: Trigger the KM120 on your carburettor's fuel supply.

  2. Pompage: Turn the pump in the hand. The needle climbs: the spring (R33) fights against pressure.

  3. The "Pop": The needle drops dry. That's your trigger pressure.

  4. Diagnostic: * If the needle drops to 0.8 bar : Your setting is nominal for a standard X30.

    • If the needle drops to 1.1 bar : Your spring is too hard, you risk being too "dry" (poor) high diet.

  5. Waterproofness: Pump just below the breaking point and count to 10. If the needle does not move, your tip is perfect!
