Product Full Description: Original TM Kart Furnishing Chamber - For KZ-R2 & KZ-R3 Engines - Sizes 3.3 to 3.6

Adjust the compression ratio and the dynamic behavior of your gearbox engine with the Combustion chamber (cylinder head dome) origin TM Kart for KZ-R2 and KZ-R3 engines. Key element of the high motor, the profile of this dome directly determines the volume of the chamber, the height of SQUISH and the combustion speed of the air / gas mixture.

CNC machined with micrometric precision in the workshops of the Italian factory TM Kart, this room guarantees optimal thermal dissipation and a perfect centering in your cylinder head. Proposed in different variations ranging from 3.3 to 3.6, it adapts both on the block Kz-r2 only on the last Kz-r3. It allows you to change your motorization according to your needs: lower dimensions (3.3 / 3.4) To promote explosion, couple and slow turn output, up to higher ratings (3.5 / 3.6To release the top plans, offer an exceptional straight line and prevent the risk of hot weather detonation.

👨🔧 4. The trick in Michel (the corner of the expert)

* "Hi KZ's preparers and enthusiasts! The cylinder head dome on a TM R2 or on the brand new R3, It is the true conductor of your performance. Change the room height between 3.3 and 3.6, it is like setting the complete character of your engine.

My indispensable mechanical trick for dome change: the mandatory measure of the squish with tin !

Never climb a new fire chamber 'blind' on the pretext that you have kept the same cylinder base seal. Each dome has its own machining tolerance.

After installing your new dome (for example from 3.5 to a 3.3) and tight the cylinder head to the recommended torque, insert a strand of tin wire from 1 mm by the well of bougie, parallel to the piston axis. Rotate the vilo by hand to crush the tin at the top dead point (PMH), then measure the thickness with a micrometer or precision slide foot.

Be sure to always comply with the minimum regulatory squish height imposed by your category (or TM recommendations). A squish too closed with a chamber 3.3 by strong heat is the piston drilling guaranteed. A squish measured in the tenth of a millimeter, it is a KZ-R2 or R3 engine that walks the fire of God! "*

-. Replacement & Setting Guide: Step by Step

1.Demontage of the cylinder head:3 min.

Drain the cooling circuit of your TM KZ-R2 or KZ-R3 engine. Loosen the crosse cylinder head nuts to avoid veiling the room, then remove the lid and the old combustion chamber.

2.Nettoyage and inspection:3 min.

Clean the top of the piston dome and the cylinder head gasket range using brake cleaner. Inspect the water seals of water seal and replace them if crushed.

3.Pose of the new dome and control of the squish:5 min.

Install your new TM Kart combustion chamber (size 3.3, 3.4, 3.5 or 3.6). Follow the trick in Michel: Reassemble the cylinder head, tighten to the factory torque, and make the squish measured over tin.

4.Purge of the liquid and validation:2 min.

Fill the cooling system with a careful air purge. Your KZ-R2 / KZ-R3 engine is perfectly configured to hunt the timer !

- SEO FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: Is this combustion chamber identical for TM KZ-R2 and KZ-R3 engines ?

A: Yes, the design of the combustion chamber and the interlocking dimensions are shared between the motorizations KZ-R2 and KZ-R3. This allows you to use the same setting range (3.3 to 3.6) to adjust your squish and compression ratio to one of these factory blocks.

Q: What is the concrete difference between a chamber 3.3 and a chamber 3.6 ?

A: The difference lies in the depth of the cupola and the height of the band of Squish. Room 3.3 is more "low", which reduces the available volume, increases the compression ratio and promotes low and mid-diet power. Room 3.6 provides a slightly higher volume, which slightly decreases compression to promote tunes at a very high speed and reduce thermal stresses on the piston.

Q: Should we change the o-rod seals when replacing the dome ?

A: Yes, it's an excellent mechanical practice. Viton / rubber O-rings undergo strong thermal and compression stresses. Put new seals when installing a new combustion chamber avoids any cooling liquid leak in the cylinder.
