New generation 2026 steering column developed by Birelart For his competition chassis.
Designed to provide stiffness, accuracy and reliability, this naked column 2026 is compatible with all recent Birelart chassis.
The steering column is the direct link in your hands and the front kart train. This version 2021 of 490mm is specifically designed for the Birelart chassis geometries of this generation. Being delivered "naked", it allows you to go up your existing accessories (steering wheel hub, ball joint, column holder) or customize your unnecessary toll-free mounting on parts that you already owned
This M10 Nut with Embase (molded with the distinctive control letter "S") is a part of the manufacturer distributed by FREELINE for the group Birel Art (Also compatible with Charles Leclerc chassis, RicCiardo or Kubica).
In the 22SRR pump, this part ensures Dynamic tightness. Unlike a static O-ring (which does not move), it is subjected to a constant back and forth movement at each pressure on the pedal.
Function: It prevents the brake fluid from reflving backwards the piston and holds the hydraulic pressure needed to operate your stirrups.
Consequence of a failure: A pedal that becomes "soft", which sinks to the floor, or a leak of liquid that appears at the protective bellows (cap).
On a 22SRR pump, you find O-rings at different locations (tank hose entrance, fill cap, sometimes as guiding joints).
The most important point: The material. The seals used in hydraulic braking must imperatively be in EPDM (ethylene-propylene).
The danger: If you are using a "standard" O-ring (often in NBR / black nitrile bought in DIY store), it will swell, disintegrate and pollute your circuit in less than a few hours in contact with the Brake fluid DOT 4 /5.1.
