Description of product

The complete thermostat kit Rotax Max is an essential part of the karting engine cooling system Rotax. It allows the temperature of the coolant to be regulated so that the engine quickly reaches its optimal operating temperature and maintains it stable throughout the operating period.

Thermostat function

The thermostat acts as an automatic thermal valve.

When the engine is cold, the thermostat remains closed in order to accelerate the temperature rise of the engine. Once the operating temperature is reached, it opens gradually to allow the coolant to flow to the radiator.

This system maintains a stable and optimal temperature during engine operation.
