"Unmounting an X30 clutch can quickly become a nightmare if the hub is plugged on the cone of the vilo. My expert advice: Never use a universal claw extractor, you will break everything. This specific extractor screws directly into the hub for clean extraction.

Products that go well together:

• IAME Piston Block: Essential to immobilize the engine while you unscrew the clutch nut and use the extractor.

• Copper grease: When winding, put a micro-net on the thread of the crankshaft (but never on the cone! the cone must remain dry and degreased).

• New clutch neck: If your old nut is marked with the key, change it to prevent it from loosening on track.

A little pro secret: If the hub resists despite the tension extractor, do not force like a deaf on the key. Give a dry blow with a plastic mallet on the head of the extractor's screw.
