The fREELINE Category KZ String is an official security piece of origin manufacturer (Original Freeline / Birel Art). It is specially designed to surround the chain transmission of Karts equipped with 125 cc gearbox motors (TM Motor, Vortex, Iame, Modena Engines).

In KZ category, rotational speeds and string voltages are extreme. This enveloping crankcase fills two essential functions:

The driver safety: It forms a robust shield that prevents hot grease projections on the driver's combination or back. In case of high speed chain case (more than 15,000 rpm), it retains the chain to prevent it from injuring the driver or damage the peripheral accessories (exhaust jar, radiator, hoses).

However, you will need to ensure that your chassis attachment legs are compatible or adjustable with the centerpiece of this crankcase.

Q: Does the kit include metal fastening legs at the chassis ?

A: No, this product includes the freelated black plastic housing alone. Welded or screwed metal brackets at the chassis tube are part of the frame accessories and are sold separately if your chassis is not already equipped.
