"The new FIA standard 8877-2022 is not just a matter of regulation, it is a real leap forward for protection against abrasion. My expert advice: don't take your gloves too big. A karting glove should be adjusted as a second skin to prevent the tissue from folding in the palm during tight steering. These folds eventually create bulbs in less than 10 turns.

A little pro secret: after a race in the rain, never dry your gloves on a radiator! Silicone and technical fabric may harden and crack. Let them dry in the open air, flat, so that they retain their flexibility and their grip 'stick' that makes the difference at first."
