"On a chassis OTK, tube flexibility is part of the performance. My expert advice: Don't tighten those flanges like a damned one! Excessive clamping can 'brid' the tube and prevent the chassis from working properly in turn. Worse, you might crush the frame tube.

• Engine Platinum 92mm: Check that your plate is not veiled before mounting new flanges.

• High resistance flange screws: If your screws are marked or rusty, change them to ensure accurate tightening.

• Copper grease: Put a small thread on the screw threads to facilitate future dismantling and avoid gripping due to engine heat.

A little pro secret: For perfect chain alignment, tighten your flanges gradually. One left turn, one right turn. If you hold one side at a time, your engine will 'turn' by one millimetre and your crown will use the cross. Tuto : How to choose and mount your flange OTK ?

1. Measure your tube: Use a slide foot to check the diameter of your frame (28, 30 or 32 mm). A flange of 30 on a tube of 32 will never close, and a flange of 32 on a tube of 30 will create a dangerous game.

2. Cleaning: Before installation, perfectly clean the chassis tube and the inside of the flange. The slightest dust or trace of grease can slide the engine during a big braking.

3. Positioning: Put the plate with the engine, slide the collars below.

4. Lock: Use a quality key. Squeeze until the engine doesn't move by hand, then add a quarter turn. That's enough.

5. Verification: After the first driving session, always check the clamping. The vibrations of the X30 tend to compact the pieces during the first rounds.
