The Original steering column OTK is a centerpiece of the geometry of your chassis. This specific model, recognizable by its characteristic slot and its two adjustment positions (45/55), adjusts the ACKERMANN. It is the component that makes the direct link between your hands and the front train: its rigidity and its manufacturing accuracy are therefore essential for a feeling "factory".

The spacer of ø10mm is placed on the axis of the steering column, usually between the attachment tab of the rods and the centering rings.

• Height adjustment: It allows to mount or down the position of the steering wheel to adapt to the morphology of the driver (arm length).

• Geometry of the rods: Its most technical role is to maintain the horizontality of the leadership rods. A bad stacking of spacers can create "bump steer" (the direction that opens or closes alone when the chassis works in torsion).
