The spacer of ø10mm is placed on the axis of the steering column, usually between the attachment tab of the rods and the centering rings.

• Height adjustment: It allows to mount or down the position of the steering wheel to adapt to the morphology of the driver (arm length).

• Geometry of the rods: Its most technical role is to maintain the horizontality of the leadership rods. A bad stacking of spacers can create "bump steer" (the direction that opens or closes alone when the chassis works in torsion).

By breaking the angle too vertical of the column, it reduces muscle fatigue at the shoulders and arms during long rolling sessions. It offers a better lever effect in greenhouse turns while releasing space for the legs of large drivers.
