Magnesium wheels are the result of a project designed to optimize tire performance. The tests carried out by the Birel racing department, in fact, showed compared to the previous version, a lower and more uniform consumption of the tread. Visually the differences mainly concern the shape (the new version contains less air between the rim and the tire) and the anchor points to the hub that provided by the three series, can become even six. The increase in the anchor points, therefore, we can intervene on the entire rigidity of the rim / hub which will ensure better grip at the rear.
