"A mixture too poor in oil and that is the guaranteed clamping. A mixture too rich and you calm the engine, lose power and crush the bougie. My expert advice: Forget the oil meter plugs! With the Cobra doser, you visualize the exact amount. The handle prevents you from putting it everywhere, because transferring viscous motor oil is never easy.

Essentials with your Cobra meter:

• Oil Lexoil 996 Evo 2 or Denicol Sint-Mix: The best synthetic oils for high performance karting engines.

• Jerrycan 10L or 20L: To prepare your mixture in large quantities in a stable way.

• Candle NGK BR9EG or BR10EG: A clean carburation begins with a bougie new.

A little pro secret: After use, clean the dosager with a fresh gasoline bottom (SP98) that you return to your jerrycan. This allows to recover the last ml of oil glued on the walls and keep a dosager clean. At Magickart, it is said that precision at the stand translates into timing on the track!"

Tuto: How to mix in 3 steps

1. Calculation: For a 4% mixture (IAME standard X30), it takes 40 ml of oil per litre of petrol.

   • For 5L of gasoline -> 200 ml of oil.

   • For 10L Gasoline -> 400 ml oil.

   • For 12.5 L Gasoline (a standard jerrycan) -> 500 ml of oil (full doser!).

2. Action: Fill the Cobra meter with your oil Lexoil until desired graduation, by placing the doser on a flat surface for correct reading.

3. Mixture: Pour the oil into the jerrycan already containing some of the gasoline, shake well, then complete with the rest of the gasoline to ensure perfect homogeneity.
