📖 The little story: the glove "Smile" of Lea

Lea, young pilot in national category, is known in the paddock for his communicative smile, even after a difficult race. But she had a problem: she never found karting gloves that really corresponded to her. The "competition" models were often very dark, black, red or blue, and sorely lacked personality. She used generalist brand gloves who were quick and lost their grip in the rain.

One day, she sees the 32Five team on a race and challenges them a challenge: "You make super comfortable gloves, but why are they not as fun as the spirit of karting ? We need a glove that gives banana !"

The team noted the glove (this is the case to say it.) "Michel, our expert in equipment, recommends you: to maximize the life of your gloves, especially Drivekin technology, avoid leaving them in full sun in the paddock after the sessions. Acid perspiration can also alter the long-term grip. Wash them by hand with warm water with a mild soap and let them dry flat, in the open air. Remember to check the size of the table below before ordering, a pilot glove must be like a second skin."

⚠️ Security Council: Karting gloves are an important security element. Always check the integrity of the seams and the palm before taking the track. Do not wear damaged or torn gloves.

📏 32Five sizes guide "Smile"

To guarantee a perfect "second skin" fit, measure the circumference of your dominant hand (right if you are downholder) just below the joints, at the widest place, without the thumb.

Note: The control gloves must be very adjusted to avoid folds on the steering wheel. If you are between two sizes, we advise you to choose the lower size.

Q: Are the smile gloves washable ?A: Yes, but with care. Wash by hand only, cold or lukewarm water, with a very soft detergent. Do not use bleach, do not move in machine, do not dry in drum. Drying flat, sheltered from the direct sun.

Q: Do 32Five smile gloves are also suitable for the car ?A: Although they are very powerful, they are specifically designed for karting. Their design is optimized for hand position and feeling on a kart flywheel, who are different from those of a race car. For the automobile, we usually need the FIA 8856-2018 standard.
