The mounting tuto (step by step)

To replace your piston in the rules of the art:

• Preparation: Remove the cylinder head and the cylinder with care, then carefully clean the seal plane and the housing by closing the opening with a clean cloth to avoid any impurity drop.

• Disassembly: Remove the SEEGER segments from the piston axle, push the axle to release the old rod, then remove the old piston.

• Checking the dome (if applicable): If you mount this piston on a previous generation engine (K9 to KZ10B), be sure to install the new suitable dome (CUPBP code) or (CUP2641 for KZ10C / R1).

• Reassembly: Install the new segment on the ASSO Werke piston, respecting the direction, position the axis with its two new new SEEGER segments, and then engage the whole in the previously lubricated cylinder.
