Cleaning the axis: Before mounting the new bearing, pass a small end of fine emery canvas on the bottom of the column so that the ball slides without forcing.
Lubrication: A silicone spray or PTFE is ideal. Avoid the thick fat that will stick the dust from the first round.
A small procy of Pro: to find out if you need 8 or 10 mm without disassembling, measure the thread of the nut at the bottom of your column. At Magickart, we advise to change this part systematically during the winter revision! "
