Full description of the product (H1: Full SPI kit for TM Racing KZ motors - K9B / K9C / KZ10 / KZ-R1 / KZ-R2)

The complete SPI joint kit for TM Racing KZ engines is an indispensable spare assembly of origin manufacturer (Ricambi Originali TM Racing). As illustrated in the reference picture 8722.jpg, This plant sealed bag gathers the entire lip joints needed to ensure absolute tightness of your bottom-motor during a full revision.

On a 2-time high efficiency competition engine as the TM Racing blocks, the slightest air intake or internal leakage can be catastrophic. The crankshaft spi joints retain pre-compression in the pump housing, while the other SPI seals preserve the gearbox oil circuit and the selector axle. Designed in fluorocarbon elastomer type Viton or high specification polymers, These factory joints tolerate crazy linear rotation speeds (up to 16 000 rpm) and total thermal and chemical resistance to fuel fuels or not and competitive oils.

Specificities of the Kit "Ricambi Originali":

The kit includes all SPI joints needed for the reconditioning of the bottom-motor:

  • Crankshaft SPI joints (ignition and transmission sides) with double lip or specific coating.

  • The secondary shaft spi seal (box output / box output gear).

  • The SPI spi seal of gear selector axle.

  • The clutch control spi seal.

Compatibility Motor (TM 125 Kz range):

This original universal kit covers the historic evolution of the pesaro plant drivers:

  • Historical generation: TM K9, K9B, K9C

  • Modern generation: TM KZ10, KZ10B, KZ10C

  • Current generation: TM KZ-R1, KZ-R2

- 3. Tip in Michel (the corner of the expert)

* "Hi Double Disengage Artists! The TM Racing TM Spi Kit (Reference 8722.jpg), it's the mandatory piece to change each time you open your housings for a bodies or box bearings. Go back of old spi seals to save three sub, it's the best way to tighten the engine or white smoking at the first acceleration !

My trick of old mechanic for surgical mounting: never mount these dry joints and protect the lips during the insertion. The steel of crankshaft threads or grooves of the secondary shaft can be hyper sharp. If you pass the spi joints on the net, you go micro-cut the rubber lip without realizing it.

Wrap a small piece of chatterton (electrician adhesive) smooth on the threads and grooves to make a guide ramp. Put a net of box or fine grease oil on the inner lip of the new SPI seal before dragging it into place. Push it right with a socket at a good diameter not to mount it through. A spi mounted through, it's a sure air intake, the engine will leap all alone and you risk the tightening at the end of the straight line! "*

- 4. The Pose & Replacement Guide: Step by Step

1.Peach:15 min.

Drain the gearbox oil from the Motor TM. Remove the ignition (rotor / stator), the box output sprocket, as well as the clutch board to nouve the access to the old spi joints.

2.Extraction own:10 min.

Using a specific spi seal extractor or gently screwing two small sheet metal screws in the old seal body (without touching the aluminum housing or the shaft litters), pull the old attachments. Clean the housings to the brake degreaser.

3.Preparation and oiling:10 min.

Open your original bag 8722.jpg. Inspect the dimensions. Apply the trick to Michel: Hide the aggressive threads with the adhesive and slightly hose the inner lip of each new joint to facilitate the slip.

4.Enfoncement and reassembling:10 min.

Present the spi seal flat flat in its crankcase bore. Press it in a perfectly parallel way with a flat thrust tool or a suitable socket that presses the outer cage of the seal. Reassemble the devices, replace new box oil and control the tightness when the first start on the carriage.

❓ 5. FAQ SEO (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: Is this SPI seal kit identical for a K9B engine and a KZ-R1 engine ?

A: Yes I do. Although the TM Racing factory has made considerably evolve cylinders, diagrams and gearbox architectures between generations K9 and the modern series R1 / R2, the diameters of the main transmission trees, selector and the bristles crankshaft remained standardized. This official kit therefore covers all of these models.

Q: How to detect a defective crankshaft spi seal on my kz ?

A: Two major symptoms must alert you: if the spi seal on the ignition leak, from the air enters the motor (air intake), the idle becomes unstable, remains very high and the motor may tighten by carburation too poor. If the clutch side SPI (transmission) is dead, the motor sucks the gearbox oil: the kart smokes a lot of blue / white with acceleration and gives off a characteristic smell of burned oil.

Q: Are these adaptable parts or original TM racing parts ?

A: This product is a certified manufacturer's origin kit, as evidenced by the stamped bag TM Racing - Ricambi Originali visible in the photo 8722.jpg. This is the official product required for maintaining performance guarantee and technical compliance during competitive controls.
