The spacer of ø10mm is placed on the axis of the steering column, usually between the attachment tab of the rods and the centering rings.

Height adjustment: It allows to mount or down the position of the steering wheel to adapt to the morphology of the driver (arm length).

Geometry of the rods: Its most technical role is to maintain the horizontality of the leadership rods. A bad stacking of spacers can create "bump steer" (the direction that opens or closes alone when the chassis works in torsion).
