"A poorly fixed chain is the best way to ruin a final. My expert advice: Always check that the chain shield does not rub against the crown, especially when passing through the vibrators. If it's too close, the heat of friction will melt the plastic.

• Chain fastening kit: Make sure to use the original supports to avoid excessive vibrations.

• Chain fat Lexoil : A well greased chain lasts longer, but without this chain shield, all the fat ends on your combination OMP Hey!

• Wide washers: Use 'carrossier' type washers for fixing to prevent plastic from tearing with vibrations.

Tuto: Assembly and Alignment

1. Alignment Check: Before tightening, turn the rear shaft by hand to ensure that the crown does not touch any internal wall of the chain.

2. The safety game: Leave about 1 cm of play between the chain and the top of the crankcase to compensate for the beat of the chain in full load.

3. Fixing: Tighten the holding screws with medium net brake. Engine vibration tends to loosen the attachments on the engine support.

4. Quick access: Make sure the screws are easily accessible so you can change your crown quickly between two sleeves.
