Presentation: the perfect connection between motor and chassis

This support bracket is specifically designed to adapt the exhaust of engines Rotax 125 Max (Evo and Non-Evo) on the group executives OTK (Tony Kart, Kosmic, wished, redspeed, ln). It keeps the exhaust pot maintained in an optimal position to prevent excessive vibrations that could crack the collector or body of the pot.

  • Design OTK : Fits perfectly with the attachment points provided on the rear cribs of the chassis of the Italian group.

  • Robustness: Made of high-performance steel to withstand thermal stresses and high frequency vibrations of the engine Rotax.

  • Flexibility / rigidity balance: Allows the exhaust pot of "move" slightly with the motor (mounted on silent bloc) while remaining firmly anchored to the chassis.

- Installation and assembly tips

  1. Positioning: First attach the tab to the frame without totally blocking the screws.

  2. SILENTBLOCS: Imperatively install rubber silentblocks between the tab and the exhaust. Engine Rotax vibrates tremendously; A rigid mounting (without rubber) would result in an immediate break of the paw or pot.

  3. Alignment: Check that the exhaust pot is not "in tension". It must be naturally asked on the medium before the final tightening.

  4. Verification: Check the tightening after each session because the heat and vibrations tend to loosen the bolts at this precise place.

💡 Michel's trick

"The mounting of the exhaust on a tone or a kosmic with a Rotax request for precision. The trick: Only use quality hardware and, if possible, high temperature brake nuts (nylstop). My Pro Council: If you see that the paw starts to mark or twist, it is because your silentblocs are too old or hard. Change them regularly (every 5 to 10 hours) to save your support paw and especially your pot that costs more! "
