"Install a Alfano Without a water probe, it's like driving blind. My expert advice: Don't be mistaken in diameter! The 17 mm is the standard, but check the inside of your durite. A too small adapter will create a leak, too large a risk of tearing the hose to the clamp.

The essentials with your A-261 adapter:

• Temperature sensor Alfano (NTC): If you don't have one yet, it's her who screws herself into this adapter.

• Cable extension Alfano : Depending on the location of your water pump, plan an extension to properly connect the probe to your steering wheel.

• Cooling liquid Lexoil : Take advantage of the opening of the circuit to restore clean, limestone-free liquid.

Tuto: Mounting the adapter in 5 minutes

1. Preparation: Wait until the engine is completely cold. Purgate some of the coolant.

2. Cut: Choose a straight section on your durite (usually at the head end). Cut the durite clean.

3. Insertion: Slide the two collars provided on the length tips, then insert the adapter Alfano.

4. Lock: Tighten the collars firmly but without completely crushing the rubber.

5. Finalization: Screw your probe into the adapter, reload the liquid and check the absence of leakage by heating the engine on the trolley.
