Full description of the product (H1: Front spoiler / plastic bumper OTK M11 - CIK-FIA homologation 012.BF.80)

Complete the aerodynamic update of your body with the official Front Spoiler OTK M11 (Original OTK Kart Parts), approved under the official 012.BF.80. Directly developed alongside the M11 front panel by the Research and Development Department ofOTK, This spoiler is the centerpiece of the front train of the last generation chassis (Tony Kart Racer 401 T, TDX, etc.).

As shown in the reference image 14547.jpg, the design of the spoiler M11 breaks completely with the lines of the past. Its shape incorporates sculpted baffles on the lateral parts and a diving central zone that channels the air flow under the chassis and around the front wheels. This radical geometry has been validated by heavy simulations CFD and complete tests in fan. Result: a considerable reduction in front train turbulence, better high speed stability and maximum optimized top-line speed speed.

Technical and regulatory characteristics:

  • International CIK-FIA Approval Number: 012.BF.80

  • Material: High resilience polypropylene plastic, tinted in the mass to absorb impacts without bursting.

  • Aerodynamics: Match perfectly the stream of Nassau Panel M11 to create a homogeneous aerodynamic barrier.

  • Chassis compatibility: Designed for group chassis OTK (Tony Kart, Kosmic, wished, Redspeed, Ln, Gillard).

  • Color: Factory original white (visible on the file 14547.jpg), ideal for applying your official decor kit.

👨🔧 - The trick in Michel (the corner of the expert)

* "Hi the pistards! This spoiler M11 with its homologation 012.BF.80, It's a sacred piece of engineering. Look well on the photo 14547.jpg : The lateral scoops are there to deviate the air from the front tires, which cuts a lot of drag. It's serious !

My trick essential for this competition spoiler: attention to the mandatory "drop" fixation !

In official competition, this spoiler must be mounted with the CIK-FIA regulatory mobile fixing kit. If you make a tape a little too frank on the rear bumper of a competitor, the spoiler gets off and goes down to the track (which causes an automatic penalty of 5 seconds).

To prevent it from being stocked on a slightly violent vibrator, make sure that the lower metal bar of your bumper is not twisted or distorted after a previous crash. If the metal tubes of the chassis are through, the plastic spoiler will be mounted in permanent tension. In this uncomfortable position, the slightest little jolt will make it jump all alone on the track. Regularly clean plastic fastening clips to remove dust and gum debris, and keep the mechanism perfectly dry. A neat and right assembly is the assurance of passing under the checkerboard without penalty! "*

📐 -The assembly guide & alignment: step by step

1.Verification of metal bars:5 min.

Install the kart on its stand trolley. Make sure the front metal tubes of the lower and upper bumper are perfectly horizontal and aligned. Replace or straighten them if necessary.

2.Places in place fixing shells:5 min.

Install the CIK-FIA stall clips or shells on the bumper tubes. Leave a light functional game so that the plastic can focus naturally during the hanging.

3.Installation spoiler M11:10 min.

Present the M11 spoiler (white model illustrated in the photo 14547.jpg). Enclose the spoiler on the lower brackets and lock the upper ties. You must hear a "click" franc confirming that the spoiler is well engaged.

4. Finalness of the game on the ground:5 min.

Once fixed, make sure the spoiler is perfectly parallel to the track. In the normal high position, it must leave enough space with the floor so as not to rub during the braking supported, while remaining ready to switch if the technical regulations require.

❓ - FAQ SEO (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: This spoiler M11 (012.BF.80) Is it compatible with M10 side pontoons ?

A: Yes, quite. The group OTK developed the M11 kit to specifically optimize air penetration on the front of the kart (including this spoiler and the Nassau front panel). The lateral pontoons as well as the rear bumper protection of the previous generation (M10) remain unchanged and align with the lines of this new spoiler.

Q: Why does the M11 spoiler have such a complex form compared to the M10 ?

A: As you can observe it on the file 14547.jpg, The spoiler has very carved volumes. The grooves and the lateral edges force the air to bypass the front wheels of the kart (which generates a lot of harmful aerodynamic turbulence). This ultra-studied design saves valuable km / h peak on long circuits.

Q: Did it come with the stall fixing kit for the race ?

A: Not. The spoiler is sold alone (naked plastic shell in white finish as illustrated). The regulatory fastening kits with retractable bumpers or mounting screws are available separately in our screw rays and body accessories.
