Proper bedding-in of new pads is essential to avoid glazing. On your first session, brake progressively and avoid locking the wheels. This lets the friction materials adapt perfectly to the disc surface. Brake fluid bled every two races guarantees a consistent pedal feel, even after 15 minutes of a final.
