"The patella is often the source of scrap streams and losses of power! My advice: Each disassembly, check that there is no calamine dried on the spherical part. A very fine emery shot can be used to find a smooth surface. The trick of old briscard: Always put a little copper grease or high temperature grease on the knaping before reassembling the pot. It makes it easier for movement, it improves the sealing and it avoids that the pot does 'eat' the ball with the vibrations! "

Installation: Fixed on the cylinder using the two specific screws. Make sure the seal between the patella and the cylinder is in good condition.

Safety: Check the alignment of the lugs for the exhaust springs. The springs must be well stretched to flatte the pot on the ball.

Interview: If you see black traces (leaks) around the ball is that it is time to clean or check the tension of your springs.
