Cylinder base joint: For the precise setting of your diagrams.
Head joint (Toric): High temperature Viton for faultless combustion chamber sealing.
Central crankcase joints: Precision laser cutting for perfect alignment of the two half cards.
Clutch housing joint: Resistant to gearbox oils.
Valve joint / intake pipe: Avoid any parasitic air intake at intake.

"The TM R1 is a precision clock. My expert advice: Never raise a joint already used, even if it looks clean. A crushed joint once lost its deformation capacity and you risk an air intake that could impoverish your carburation and cause a tightening.

Spi TM R1 Joint Kit: Since they're not in this pocket, take advantage of it to change them! A R1 engine deserves new spis at each crankcase opening.
Piston TM Racing Origin: If you change the joints, you've opened. Check your piston rating!
Box oil Lexoil : To close your clutch case with a competitive quality oil.
A little pro secret: For the base joint, mount it dry or with a very fine oil film. Avoid joint paste that shoves in transfers and disturbs gas flows. At Magickart, we have everything in stock for your R1 to relish as on the first day!"
Cleaning: This is the longest but most important step. Remove any old seal residue with a plastic scraper (to avoid scratching aluminum).
Degreasing: Use a brake cleanser on all joint planes. They must be perfectly dry.
Positioning: Present the joint on the center pawns. A TM central crankcase joint must be installed without forcing.
Lock: Always use a dynamometer key. For R1 crankcases, press the cross so that the joint crashes evenly.
Test: Once the engine is closed, it is best to do a pressure leak test to ensure that no air intake remains before the engine is mounted on the chassis.
