The bSS front brake disc OTK is an original manufacturer braking component (Original OTK Kart Parts), specially developed for front braking systems BSS which equip the group competition chassis OTK (Categories with KZ gearbox and DD2 direct transmission motors).
Made in an exclusive high-carbon steel cast iron alloy at the Italian factory, this disc enjoys an advanced ventilated architecture. Its internal channels are optimized to extract hot air and cool the front train during massive deceleration phases at the end of straight line.
⚠️ ATTENTION AU SENS DE MONTAGE: Due to the specific orientation of internal ventilation blades and direction of rotation, this disc has a right side and a separate left side. Be sure to select the desired side in the options before adding the product to your cart. A disk mounted upside down will reveal its highly reduced cooling capabilities.
System range: BSS (Manual Front Brake for KZ / DD2)
Disk Type: Ventilated and thermally optimized
On the side available: Right or left (choice)
Material: High performance anti-fading steel cast iron
Chassis compatibility: Tony Kart, Kosmic Racing Kart, Kart, Redspeed, LN Kart (Lando Norris), Gillard
Origin: Original certified OTK
* "Hi trapper braking specialists! The BSS system at the front, that's what allows you to make a difference at the end of the straight line in Kz. As much to say that it heats hard.
My unmissable trick for these discs: do not deceive yourself aside when ordering and editing !
Why is there a right disk and a left disk? It is because of the ventilation channels inside the slice of the disc. They are oriented by propeller. When the kart rolls forward, the rotation effect must act as a turbine to 'suck the fresh air by the center and scroll it outward. If you reverse the right and the left, the air is pushed back, the heat accumulates in the heart of the hub and you risk veiling your discs and cook your rocket bearings in just two sessions.
Another small council of old mechanics: when you mount your new disc on the front hub OTK, clean the reach with the metal brush. Only one small impurity or a grain of sand stuck between the aluminum hub and the disc, and your disc will not rotate. Use from medium net brake on the fixing screws and tighten in a very uniform cross-cross! "*
Put the kart on trolley. Remove the front wheel concerned. Remove the BSS brake brake caliper by being careful not to twist or constrain the hydraulic hose (attach it to the frame with a small plastic necklace).
Unscrew the rocket nut to remove the entire front hub bearing the disc. Once the hub on the workbench, remove the mounting screws to separate the old used disc from its aluminum support.
Take your new original record OTK. . Check one last time that the meaning of the internal fins corresponds to the side (right or left) of the front train worked. Clean the new disk carefully on the brake cleaner to remove the factory protective oil film.
Replace the disc on the front hub. Replace the screws with a medium net brake drop and tighten to the torque progressively (crosswise). Slide the hub on the rocket, tighten the axle nut, reassemble the bracket with new pads and check that the disc rotates freely in the center of the caliper.
Q: How to visually differentiate the right disk from the left disk to unpacking ?
A: Look at the internal ventilation channels located on the slice of the disc. When the disk is positioned on the kart, the internal fins must be oriented towards the back of the kart by going upwards, so as to evacuate the hot air back when the wheel turns forward. Original packaging OTK also mention the specific reference right or left.
Q: Is this disk compatible with the front brake systems (at the pedal) type BSZ or BSS for ancient generation ?
A: This disc is designed specifically for the front braking system BSS (Manual lever controlling control). For foot control systems (such as the BSZ or MX model), be sure to check the dimensions (diameter and fixing center) because the front hubs and the calipers offsets may vary by year.
Q: Should we change the two discs before at the same time ?
A: In competition, it is strongly recommended to change the discs before pair (left and right simultaneously). This ensures a perfect balance of braking during deceleration phases. If one side brakes stronger than the other because of an asymmetric wear of the disks, the kart will tend to pull on one side braking, which hurts the stability of the front train.
Offer a new heart to your factory mechanics through TM KART official cylinder for KZ-R3 engine in standard version. Central part of the Italian brand's 6-speed block 125cc, this original replacement cylinder guarantees perfect manufacturing tolerances and strict compliance with the official certification sheet.
Molded in an aluminum alloy with high thermal conductivity and coated with a surface treatment at Ultra-resistant nicaSilThis standard cylinder offers scanning and admission diagrams / exhaust developed by the TM Course service. It ensures exceptional volumetric yield, a massive couple from the mid-diets and an incomparable length at the end of straight line. Whether to replace a used, damaged cylinder or simply to have a new backup high-engine with factory standards, this part is the guarantee of optimal reliability and performance
Go to the upper level of the competition with the TM Kart KZ-R3 Official Cylinder in Full Black Version Prepared. Designed for the most demanding pilots and preparers, this exceptional cylinder combines the aesthetic finish "Full Black" factory with a pushed preparation work of intake and exhaust ducts.
In addition to its aggressive look resolutely "Factory", the finish Full Black Provides specific thermal surface treatment that promotes calorie evacuation to the cooling circuit. Side performance, the version Prepared Enjoys a careful retouching of the opening diagrams, a perfect alignment of the transfers and optimized polishing of the exhaust light. The result? An increased scanning speed, maximum filling of the high engine, more torque to mid-speed and a turning tricks at high speed to make the difference in qualification and final.
Guarantee a perfect lock and surgical disengagement on your high-engine thanks to the Official TM Kart Clutch Press Tray Designed for KZ-R3 Engine. Mistress transmission part, this pressure plate applies the radial strength of the springs on the stack of the stacked discs and smooth to transmit the entire power of the block R3 to the gearbox.
Machined in a high rigidity aluminum alloy, this presser tray benefits from a geometry reworked by the TM KART race service exclusively dedicated to the KZ-R3 generation. It avoids any deflection under stolen departures or on the fly passages, ensuring instant biting without residual skating. Its perfectly flat friction surface and anti-friction treatment extend the lifetime of your clutch discs and ensure absolute constancy, handle after handle.
Equip your kart with the summum of group braking technology OTK. This original BWD rear caliper is the new standard set in series on all chassis of the group OTK (Tony Kart, Kosmic, Exprit, Redspeed, EOS, GILLARD) from the 2025 season.
The Mychron 6 2T is the new reference of data acquisition systems for karting. More powerful, faster and more connected than his predecessor, The Mychron 6 is designed for drivers that require the best. This "2T" version allows the management of two temperatures motor simultaneously.
Optimize the transmission of your engine with the Clutch wreath 70 teeth TM R3. Specific original room (Caution: Not compatible with TM KZ R2 and previous models).
