🔧 Assembly Board

  1. Positioning: Slide the ring on the steering column. It is usually placed right above or below the upper column holder (plastic bearing).

  2. Adjustment of the game: Leave a very light functional game (about 0.5 mm) so that the column can rotate freely without vertical stress, while eliminating the high at large movements.

  3. Tightening: Tighten the neutceau bolt firmly. For maximum safety, you can slightly mark the steel of the column with a drill at the clamping point so that the screw is lying there, thus avoiding any slip.

  4. Safety: The use of net brake (blue type) on the small neuture screw is strongly recommended to prevent it from loosening with the vibrations of the motor.

💡 Michel's trick

"On a column of 20 mm, this ring is much more convenient than a simple clip because it allows a millimeter setting. My Pro Council: Do not tighten as a deaf without checking that the column always turns well from left to right. If you feel a resistance is that your ring crushes too much the plastic support. "
