What is the New-Line decompression tank for?

This tank performs three distinct functions depending on its location on the chassis, ensuring cleanliness and compliance of the kart.

1. For cooling circuit (Radiator)

It serves as an expansion vase. When the water rises in temperature and pressure, the surplus is evacuated to this reservoir instead of ending up on the runway. This also avoids the introduction of air into the circuit during cooling.

2. For the fuel tank (Air)

Related to the airing of the fuel tank, it recovers vapours and gas projections during the sudden movements of the kart or during a full too large. This avoids projections on the driver and chassis.

3. For the engine (oil and decompression)

It collects oil vapors expelled by the sniff of the engine. On 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines, this prevents box oil or crankcase from defiling the rear gear and braking system.
