Positioning: Align perfectly the pulley of the rear axle with the pulley of the water pump to prevent the belt from jumping or does not wear out prematurely.
Tightening: Make sure the mounting screws are tightened evenly. A slight net brake point can be used to counter the vibration of the shaft.
Verification of the belt: Use O-rings or notched belts adapted to the profile of the pulley. The tension must be firm but must not brush the rotation of the pump.

A: The plastic pulleys are often specific to a axle diameter (30mm, 40mm or 50mm). Check that the inner diameter is your back tree before purchase.
Q: Why choose plastic rather than aluminum?
A: The plastic is lighter and offers some flexibility that can absorb micro-vibrations, thus protecting a little better the bearings of your water pump.
Q: How many belts should we install?
A: Most drivers install two straps per security. If a breakage, the second ensures the continuity of cooling to finish the handle.
