- Complete description of the product (H1: exhaust silence wool iame x30 & ka100 - soundproofing & performance)

Keep maximum engine performance while respecting sound attenuation standards on all circuits thanks to the official silencer wool for Iame X30 and KA100 engines. Item of wear of your Kart 100cc or 125cc exhaust system, this high-density sound and thermal insulation charging provides ideal filtration of exhaust gas out of leakage tube.

Specially designed to support the extreme thermal stresses generated by the blocks Iame x30 and ka100, This high strength wool does not burn prematurely under the effect of 2T oil splashes and heat waves. By maintaining a constant back-pressure within the silencer body, it preserves the mid-speed power curve and guarantees you a sound level (dB) perfectly in accordance with the technical controls in competition and leisure.

- The trick in Michel (the corner of the expert)

* "Hi the pistards! The exhaust wool on an X30 IME or a KA100 is the maintenance too often neglected. A wool sip of 2T or calcined oil, it is a motor that makes a noise of hell, which loses from the recovery in Turning output and the risk of being recalled to the sound level meter during technical control !

My stand trick for replacing the wool X30 / KA100: the degreasing of the mitraille tube and the winding without much packing !

When you disassemble your exhaust cartridge, do not just put back from the new wool. Clean the tUBE MITRAILLE (perforated) to the brake and metal brush cleaner: all small holes must be outlets for the gases to cross wool.

When winding the new wool around the tube: do not tap it like a rifty ! If you tighten it too hard, the fibers are compressed, the wool loses its power of sound absorption and its sound rises. If you will not tighten it enough, it will float and burn in 2 sessions. Wrap it firmly but regularly, keep it with one or two painter scotch towers (which will burn from the first heater), then reinsert the set in the body of the silencer! "*

- Installation guide: step by step

1.Demontage of the X30 / KA100 cartridge:3 min.

Remove the retention springs or rivets from the silencer cartridge. Extract the tip and the mitraille tube of the exhaust body.

2.Nettoyage and stripping:3 min.

Throw the old used and calcined wool. Start the perforated machine with the brake cleaner to clear all gas passage cells.

3.Enroulement from the new wool:3 min.

Follow the trick in Michel: Wrap the newly unofformed Iame silencer wool around the perforated tube. Attach it temporarily with a strand of adhesive paper.

4.Remontage and locking:3 min.

Gently slide the tube wrapped into the aluminum body of the cartridge. Replace the cup and secure the set with new watertight rivets. Your engine is returned for its own and compliant sound !

- SEO FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: How often does the silencer wool be replaced on an X30 or KA100 ?

A: In use competition or regular training, it is recommended to replace the exhaust wool all 10 to 15 hours of rolling. If you notice a change of sound (noise more metallic / acute) or oil flowing from the cartridge, the replacement is immediate.

Q: Why does the silencer wool affect the engine performance ?

A: A wool too soaked with oil or destroy modifies the output speed of the gases and disrupts the return wave in the exhaust pot 2 times. This can lead to low / mid-speed hollow or a maximum diet, whether on an X30 or KA100.

Q: Is this wool perfectly adapted to the Iame KA100 engine cartridge ?

A: Yes, the ieme motor exhaust cartridge of the range (KA100, X30) shares identical insulating material and density, ensuring perfect fit and optimum acoustic protection.
