"Michel, our technical expert, recommends: Tightening the exhaust manifold is critical. Insufficient tightening will cause a gas leak (black marks around the joint), loss of power, and a risk of damage to the gasket or even the manifold. Excessive tightening could crack the manifold or damage the thread in the cylinder.For optimal installation, use locknuts (Nyloc type) or exhaust-specific copper nuts to prevent them from loosening due to vibrations. Tighten the two nuts alternately and progressively to the recommended torque (generally between 1.5 and 2.0 m.kg, to be checked according to your wrench. Remember to check the tightness after the first few minutes of riding.

⚠️ Safety advice: The exhaust is a part that becomes extremely hot. Always handle the pipe with protective gloves after a track session. Do not use unspecified jointing paste for exhaust systems, this could clog the duct or damage the motor.
