Replacing the Zamp Z-20 shield:

To ensure safe and efficient replacement of your ZAMP Z-20 shield, follow these steps:

1. Preparation : Place a towel on a flat surface and place the headset on it to prevent scratches and damage.
2. Removing pivot tensioners : Remove the shield pivot tensioners from each side. This is the smallest screw on the sides of the shield.
3. Removing pivot screws : Remove the shield pivot screws on each side. This is the biggest screw on the side of the shield. For best results, use a quarter turn to loosen / tighten that.
4. Cleaning : Remove the shield and use a fabric towel to wipe the rubber seal as well as the place where the visor is on the helmet for better results.
5. Installation of the new shield : Place the new shield on the helmet. Make sure the two white washers between the visor and the helmet are in place before reinstalling the visor.
6. Fixing pivot screws : Hand screw the shield pins (screw greater) to keep the shield in place. Once handed by hand, use a coin and tighten until they are well adjusted with the helmet hull. Do not tighten too much to avoid damaging the shield.
7. Adjusting pivot tensioners : Hand tilt the shield pivot tensioners, then tighten the desired voltage for the movement of the shield.
