Replacement Instructions

1. Preparation: Place a towel on a flat surface and place the helmet on it.
2. Withdrawal of Pivot Tenders: Remove the pivot tensioners from the shield on either side. This is the smallest screw on the sides of the shield.
3. Removal of Pivot Screws: Remove the pivot screws from the shield on either side. This is the biggest screw on the side of the shield. Use a coin to loosen/tighten these screws for better results.
4. Removal of Shield: Remove the shield. Use a cloth towel to wipe the rubber seal and where the visor is mounted on the helmet for better results.
5. Installation of the New Shield: Place the new shield on the helmet. Make sure the two white washers between the visor and the helmet are in place before relocating the visor.
6. Fixing Pivot Screws: Screw the pivots of the shield (larger screw) by hand to hold the shield in place. Once put on by hand, use a coin and tighten until they are properly adjusted with the helmet shell. Don't squeeze too hard.
7. Fixing Pivot Tenders: Hands-on the pivot tensioners of the shield, then tighten to the desired tension for the shield movement.

Important Note

• Do not use electrical tools: It is important not to use electric tools or too tight screws when changing protections to avoid damaging the shield or helmet.
• Do not use transparent film: Do not place the transparent film (provided on all standard visors) on Prism visors. This could damage the visor coating.
