The KG Nitro air box holder is not just a metal tab. This is the interface that absorbs some of the high frequency vibrations generated by the engine before they reach the plastic of the air box. A medium in good condition is crucial: if it is twisted or cracked, your air box will "hang", creating air intakes at the rubber fitting, which can deplete your mix and jeopardize your piston.

The rubber fitting is the junction part between the output of your air box and the entry of your carburetor. Although apparently simple, this sleeve has a crucial role: it must guarantee a Perfect sealing. The slightest air intake between the air box and the carburettor can result in dust or sand, causing premature wear (or even a motor case) irreparable.

When the sky covers, your biggest enemy becomes the moisture that seeps into your admission. A motor that sucks water is a motor that "grazes", loses power, or worse, may be able to stall.
