"The SKF in TN9 / C3, it's a bit the 'roll' of the box bearing! CAUTION However: the polymer cage (plastic) does not like the ultra-aggressive solvents or the heating on the flusher. My advice: for the mount like a pro, put the bearing in the freezer and heat the housing cleanly 80 ° C.. The bearing must be installed without any force. And if you see that the plastic cage starts to yellow or become brittle on an old bearing, do not look, change it to the direct before it explodes in the gables! "

🎓 Tuto: installation and maintenance

Preparation: Clean the housing housing. Check that the range of the shaft (15mm) is not marked or worn.
Insertion: Use a socket that supports exclusively On the outer roller ring to insert it into the crankcase. Never tap on the inner ring!
Lubrication: Once in place, soak it with box oil XPS (red oil Rotax). The TN9 cage must always be lubricated to maintain its flexibility.
Replacement frequency: Intensive use, a check at each revision of 25 hours is recommended. At the slightest "scrap", the replacement is mandatory.
