"Michel, our equipment expert, recommends: For optimal “floating” operation and good grip, do not overtighten the rim’s mounting screws on the hub. Use a torque wrench (the generally recommended torque is between 20 and 25 Nm, depending on the type of stud) and tighten in a star pattern to ensure perfect seating. Remember to check the tightness regularly, especially after the first few sessions. A magnesium rim requires careful maintenance to prevent oxidation; clean it and dry it thoroughly after each use.

⚠️ Safety advice: Never drive with a cracked rim or one whose mounting holes have become oval-shaped. This could result in losing a wheel on the track and pose a serious danger to you and the other drivers.
