How to choose its axis?

A. Depending on the weather

  • Tie :

    • High grip (New bitumen) → O (gold), f (yellow), m (red).
    • MediumB (Blue), T (Brown).
    • Weak grip (worn track) → H (orange), k (green).
  • Wet weather or wet track :

    • B (blue) or M (red) For a good compromise adhesion / stability.
    • Avoid the axes Too rigid (h, k) which can cause slips.

B. Depending on the type of circuit

  • Smooth track (eg concrete circuit):
    • Axes Soft (N, S, B) to maximize adhesion.
  • BOSSELLE OR Abrasive track :
    • Axes Rigid (T, H, K) For better stability.
  • Technical track (Tight turns):
    • Axes Versatile (B, M) for a balance between grip and responsiveness.

C. According to the pilot level

  • Beginners : N (black) or S (white) For a kart easier to control.
  • Confirmed drivers : B (blue) or T (brown) For better feeling.
  • Experts / competition : M (red), K (green), O (OR) for maximum performance.

D. According to the category of karting

  • Leisure / rental : N, s.
  • Cadet / x30 junior : S, b.
  • OK / x30 /Rotax Max : B, m.
  • Kz / kz2 : F, o, m, k.
