There is currently no other neck protection system available to riders that can effectively help prevent all of the above injury risks. The design rationale behind the Leatt-Brace(R) is to bring the head to a controlled stop. This is achieved by providing a rigid, padded structure that acts as an alternate loading path for neck forces. Helmet impacts otherwise transmitted from the helmet to the skull and then to the neck are redirected by the helmet to the brace to other body structures safely using alternate load path technology.
The design of the Leatt-Brace(R) prevents the helmet/head from projecting onto the brace and therefore prevents a fulcrum action, which has been documented in the literature relating to the use of collar devices. Leatt-Brace(R) MOTO KART works with most types of armor and chest protection.

The Valve box cover (or intake conveyor) of 29 mm is the major technical evolution of the X30 engines since 2018. Located between the carburetor and the pyramid of valves, its role is to "guide" the vein gas aerodynamically.
