"Guys, a crankcase screw, it respects it! We do not hug themselves with a low-end key. My advice: use a torque. On the aluminum of Rotax, the couple recommended is 10 nm. If you tighten too hard, you will crack the housing thread, and there is the insured helical! A small mesh of copper fat on the thread before mounting, and your screws will never block, even after a complete season in the rain. "
🎓 TUTO: Mounting and Maintenance

Cleaning the thread: Before mounting, pass a blow of blower in the tapped hole to evacuate the old oil or the metal residues.

Manual approach: Always start screwing by hand on the first 3 or 4 turns to be sure not to engage the screw.

Cross clamping: For housings, always tighten the screws gradually by following a cross scheme to avoid deforming the central seal.

Visual control: If you see that the screw head begins to be marked or the hex footprint turns off, replace it immediately. A screw blocked with a messed footprint is a mechanical nightmare.
