Cut in the mass in an aluminum alloy with very high mechanical strength (Ergal 7075 T6), this central nut guarantees an absolute maintenance of your clutch nut on the primary gearbox shaft.
Presented under the view 3 (marker 26) on the technical scheme of the TM Kart KZ-R3 clutch, this original nut enjoys a reworked geometry to adapt to the last evolution of Italian transmissions. Its Ergal design allows a valuable weight gain compared to a conventional steel nut, which decreases the inertia on the primary tree and promotes even more brighter and frank climbs.

This Ergal nut is designed exclusively to work in combination with the walnut / Clutch Tambourine "New Type" (also available for sale in this section of the site). It does not adapt to the old models of tambourines.

Before placing this nut on your tambourine 'new type', perfectly clean the brake cleaner tapping and drop a drop of blue fillet brake (average force) on the thread of the primary shaft. Do not use a shock key (pneumatic firecracker) that would destroy the imprint of this nut in Ergal !
Screw it by hand, then use a suitable clutch nut blocker and a 6-piece socket perfectly clean mounted on torque wrench. Tighten to torque recommended by TM KART. A mounting on the brake and the right couple is the assurance of a locked transmission that will never move in the sleeve! "*
- Installation guide: step by step
1.Preparent the primary tree:2 min.After installing the tambourine / clutch walnut "new type" and its wedge washer, perfectly clean the thread of the shaft with brake cleaner.
2.Application fillet brake:1 min.Follow the Tip in Michel: Remove a medium (blue) brake tip on the shaft thread to secure the lock.
3.Vishing and tightening to the couple:2 min.Engage the Ergal nut (view 3) by hand. Block the tambourine with the dedicated hold tool and tighten to the torque wrench (6-pin sleeve) with the factory recommended torque.
4.ContrFinal ocean:1 min.Check that the tambourine has no axial game and rotates freely with the shaft. You can now install the pressure tray and the disks !
