"Michel, our technical expert, recommends: Tightening the exhaust pipe is critical. Insufficient tightening will cause a gas leak (black marks around the joint), a loss of power, and a risk of damage to the gasket or even the pipe. Excessive tightening could crack the pipe or damage the threads in the cylinder.Pour un montage optimal, utilisez des écrous freins (type Nyloc) ou des écrous cuivre spécifiques échappement pour éviter qu'ils ne se desserrent avec les vibrations. Serrez alternativement les deux écrous de manière progressive jusqu'au couple recommandé (généralement entre 1,5 et 2,0 m.kg, à vérifier selon votre clé). Pensez à vérifier le serrage après les premières minutes de roulage.
