It ensures perfect sealing of the valve mechanism and ensures optimal operation of the exhaust opening system.
The Guillotine body (n ° 7) is the fixed part that screws on the cylinder and in which the movable guillotine slides. It is it that ensures the maintenance of the entire valve system (bellows, spring, cap). If this part is dirty or distorted, the valve can no longer rise and descend freely, which brides the engine performance.

The Support spring is housed between the valve piston and the black adjustment cap. Its role is to exercise a constant reminder force on the guillotine to keep it in the low position. The Exhaust valve cover Is the upper black housing that seals the entire valve system. The Adjustment screw, located at the top of the valve hood, is the direct interface between the driver and the engine. By screwing it or by unscrewing it, the preload of the internal spring is modified, which defines which precise regime will open to release all the power of the Rotax.
