"The cable brake is rustic but it works! My pro tip: To have a firm pedal, do not use standard bike cable. Take a Reinforced brake cable and especially a quality sheath (Teflonne if possible). If your sheath crashes when you brake, you lose all the power. Little trick at assembly: Lightly grease the caliper cam so that the return is done without hitch. And above all, check the wear of your plates regularly, because unlike the hydraulic, you have to compensate the wear manually by trying the cable! "
