"The box is the 'social seat' of your kart! My expert advice: a seat too big, and you're going to float and hurt your ribs. A seat too small, and you're gonna block your breathing and blood flow. The Greyhound is great because its flat bottom allows to position it very low, which improves the stability of the kart.

The essentials to mount your Greyhound:

• Seat screwdriver kit: Use wide 'shuttle' washers to avoid piercing the resin during a big shock.

• Coastguard Bengio: It's the winning duo. Always measure your basin width with your rib protector to choose the right seat size!

• Lead plates: If you need to lower your kart, attach it to the sides of the seat for a perfect balance.

A little pro secret: To drill your new seat without bursting it, use a sharp wick and place a piece of scotch of carrossier where you will drill. It prevents the resin from crumbling. At Magickart, we know that a well-mounted seat is a winning driver!"

How to position your seat?

1. The balance: The seat shall be fully aligned with the chassis axis (unless specific asymmetrical adjustment is made).

2. The height: The flat bottom must touch the tubes of the chassis, or even descend 5 to 10 mm below to lower the centre of gravity (be careful not to rub on the vibrators!).

3. The inclination: Too inclined backwards, you lose front gear. Too straight, you're loading the train before. Find your balance according to your riding style.

4. Fixing: Press firmly but without crushing the resin. Use silencing blocks if your chassis allows for more flexibility.
