"This little cap is what is called a 'safety shutter'. If you notice that he oozes a little or he took a shot, do not leave him like that. If he jumps, it's the door open to all dirt in your lower engine! My advice: To install it correctly, uses a socket of the same diameter (Ø20) to type flat with a small mallet. If you tap in the middle with a screwdriver, you will deform it, it will flee and it will eventually fall. A fitting clean, it's the key for a motor that remains dry!"

🎓 Tuto: installation and replacement

1. Housing cleaning: Before laying a new cap, clean the edge of the orifice perfectly with a degreaser. No trace of fat must remain on the contact area.

2. Presentation: Place the hood straight on the orifice. The curved side must be directed outward.

3. Emptyment: Using a bronze jet or a 20 mm bushing, hit gently and evenly. The cap must descend until you flush the housing or reach its abutment.

4. Verification: Once posed, check that it is blocked. He should not be able to turn on himself by hand.
