The chain wear tester 428 is an indispensable tool to quickly and efficiently control the state of your transmission chain. Simple use, it allows you to determine in seconds whether your string can still be used or whether it should be replaced.
A worn chain causes premature wear of motor sprocket and crown, increasing maintenance costs and possibly leading to loss of performance or even track failure.
Operation
This tool has two levels of measurement :
Face 1 : indicates the threshold from which it is not advisable to use the running chain.
Face 2 : determines the level of critical wear and tear that requires immediate replacement the chain.
If the chain does not fit into the tool, this means that its wear remains within an acceptable tolerance.
