Ilentlock TM KART Embryo (Ref. 16) – Transmission Absorber

The SilentClutch Block TM Kart (mark 16 on the broken view) is a strategic component located inside the clutch assembly of your KZ engine. Its role is to absorb brutal shocks and vibrations during gear shifts and full acceleration phases. By acting as a torque damper between the engine and the gearbox, it protects the bell and pinions from premature breakage.

"Silentblocks are the fuses of your clutch. My expert advice: With the time and heat of the oil, the rubber eventually settles or hardens. If you feel dry 'clocs' when speeding or if you see small black pieces in your drain oil, change them immediately!

The essentials with your silent blocks (#16):

• Clutch Bell (n°14): Take advantage of the opening of the housing case to check that the housings of the Silentblocs are not ovalized.

• Box oil Lexoil : Clean oil prolongs rubber life by avoiding overheating.

• Mounted discs (n°9): If the silent blocks are dead, the discs have often suffered repeated shocks.

A little pro secret: For optimal operation, always change all the silent blocks at the same time (the complete kit) so that the damping is perfectly balanced throughout the bell. At Magickart, it is advisable to check them at every big overhaul of the lower engine."

1. The Game: Once the clutch is opened, if you can move the bell back and forth in relation to its hub, your silent blocks are crushed.

2. Inspection: A silentbloc in good condition shall be flexible and have no cracks. If they fall on their own, they're out of service.

3. The Mounting: Insert them with a little box oil to make it easier to set up without pinching them.
