🛠️ Full description of the product Hub / original clutch noods TM KART - Exclusive engine KZ-R3

Make a perfect sliding of your discs and a faultless torque transmission thanks to the hub (walnut) of original TM kart clutch specially developed for the KZ-R3 engine. Central part fixed on the primary gear shaft, this machined hub receives the interior splines of the smooth steel disks to transmit the power of the high-engine to the gearbox.

Cell in a very high mechanical strength aluminum alloy, this original hub withstands the marquetable and premature wear caused by repeated disk impacts during high speed departures and reporting changes. It guarantees an ultra-fluid translation of the disk packet and the presser tray, eliminating any risk of grazing or clutch feeling that "glue".

⚠️ CAUTION - Restricted compatibility:

This clutch hub is strictly specific to the TM Kart KZ-R3 engine. It isn't Not compatible with TM KZ-R2 or with previous models (KZ-R1, KZ10, KZ10B, KZ10C ...). The profile of the grooves and the architecture of the transmission having evolved on the block R3, imperatively check the version of your engine before any order.

👨🔧 Tip in Michel (the corner of the expert)

* "Hi specialists in the gearbox! The clutch hub (or walnut), it is a centerpiece on the R3. As for the disks stocked, keep in mind that the transmission of the R3 has evolved: do not attempt to mount this Hub on a KZ-R2 or KZ10 !

My stand trick for control and mounting the hub R3: the inspection of the grooves and the tightening to the couple !

When you review the clutch, switch your finger on the branches of the hub: if you feel 'steps' or notches dug by steel disks, the hub is worn. These notches block the discs in position and prevent you from properly disengun. A marked hub must be replaced direct !

When installing your new hub on the primary shaft, do not forget its wedding washer to the bottom. To block the central nut (as the model Ergal 18TM49057.2), use a adapted Walnut Tool and a drop of medium brake. Never type on the hub with a hammer to insert it, it must slip softly on the grooves of the tree! "*

📐 Installation guide: step by step

1.Demontage of the tray and disks:3 min.

Place the kart on the cart. Remove the clutch housing, loosen the presser tray screws and extract the entire disk packet (trimmed and smooth).

2.Deposit of the old hub R3:2 min.

Using a toolblock-walnut tool, unscrew the central clutch nut. Remove the old hub and its support washer by inspecting the state of the primary shaft.

3.Installation of the original hub of new:3 min.

Follow the tip in Michel: Replace the wedging washer, then slide the original TM KZ-R3 nine hub on the spline of the primary shaft.

4.sert and reassembly of transmission:3 min.

Apply a brake-fillet tip on the thread, rest the central nut and tighten to the torque torque at the torque wrench. All you have to do is go up the disk packet and the pressure plateau !

❓ FAQ SEO (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: Why is this clutch hub not compatible with TM KZ-R2 and earlier blocks ?

A: TM Kart modified the transmission subset (tambourine, hub and tray) to the generation Kz-r3. The work heights, disc guidance and interlocking dimensions are specific to block R3.

Q: What are the signs of a tired clutch hub or replace ?

A: If you feel jailed during departures, that the kart continues to move slightly while the clutch lever is fired thoroughly, or if you observe slotted notches on the hub aluminum doors, it must be changed.

Q: Is the central clutch nut comes with the hub ?

A: No, this machined clutch hub is sold alone. The central nut (steel or ergal) as well as the wedge washer must be recovered if they are in perfect condition or ordered separately in our shop.
